Misson Statement
Our mission is to bring the Music, Education, and Culture of the Tejano movement to the forefront in Houston and beyond. Our vision is to educate the younger generations on the history, culture, and beauty of Tejano music . All projects and efforts of this organization will always be pursued with unity and a positive agenda.
=========================================
The vision of the coalition is to introduce to our young children, the music, the culture, and the legacy of the Tejano culture. We hope that by reaching out to the young children, teens, and young adults we can instill what Tejano music is and teach them the roots of Tejano music.
The Houston Tejano Music Coalition intends to reach out to as many students and get them information on how to read into resources that can provide them more information on Tejano music.
==========================================
Tejano music is being brought to our students by well know artist in the Tejano industry. From local Grammy nominated Avizo, award winning Tex Maniacs, and Tejano hall of fame Marky Lee Riojas.
============================================
The Houston Tejano Coalition also has a mission in Preserving Tejano Music and its History. Some of the funds raised will go to the cost of providing Exhibits in public library’s (Enlarged Poster sized Exhibits of Tejano old and Tejano Present) cost of providing high quality materials for presentation.
=============================================
The organization needs a physical address and a office to run the business of the
organization. The office would be used to store files and store all equipment purchased for the organization. The organization needs a place to store artifacts to preserve the History of the Music.
