Gonzalo Perez and Alex Garibay on the first day meet thier students. Mr. Perez and Mr. Garibay combined bring over 80 years of musical experience.
This project is to form a Youth Tejano Band from Jackson Middle School Students, it is a Pasadena Outreach Center afterschool program created by the Houston Tejano Music Coalition.
The first day was outstanding as these young people are very enthusiastic about learning and performing. Some students even in one session gained confidence as some sang in front of the class.
